Born in Portland, Maine, I moved to Massachusetts at age 7. I grew up in the broadcasting industry with my father using my siblings and me in various commercials through the years. He worked for WGAN-TV, Jordan Marsh & Marshalls. We did radio ads, voice-overs and on-screen work for TV commercials.

My school years included graduation from Duxbury High School, 2 years at Roanoke College in Virginia and graduation from the University of Maine at Orono with a degree in broadcasting. I met my husband, Chad at the college radio station, WMEB. We worked together at WWMJ in Ellsworth. We moved to Portland and I went to work at WCME on Westport Island.

Not wanting to travel long distances in the winter, I took the job at WHOM. I have been here over 20 years. During that time, we have had 2 sons. Chris is attending Brandeis University and James is at South Portland High School.
